I have contributed to institution building through academic leadership and research administration, including the development of the IPR Cell, curriculum development, laboratory and infrastructure development, participation in doctoral and research committees, industry–academia collaboration, and startup mentoring. • Chairman, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell, 2015–2021. Initiated and developed the IPR Cell at IIT Ropar and supported the institute’s IPR activities over several years. During this period, the number of IPR applications increased from 0 to 72. Secured an initial grant from the Punjab State Council for Science and Technology (PSCST) and coordinated with the Patent Information Centre (PIC), PSCST, and Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), Government of India, for patent filing and IPR-related activities.

• Nodal Officer, IPR, IIT Ropar, 2015–Present. Facilitated IPR activities and attracted funding support from PSCST, Government of Punjab.

• Head/Coordinator, Central Workshop, 2012–2018. Initiated procurement of various machines and equipment, supported staff recruitment, and contributed to the planning and development of the new central workshop at the main campus.
